Despite the $10 million in personal debt to her campaign, Hillary Clinton laid down $2,300 for Barack Obama Friday in Unity, New Hampshire, The New York Times reports. A symbolic gesture for a united Democratic front, both Clinton and her husband maxed out in individual contributions to the presumptive nominee at the close of the Clinton-Obama event.

Millionaire Sant Chatwal, one of Hillary Clinton’s top donors, said he will raise more than $10 million for Barack Obama from the Indian American community, Rediff.com reports. Chatwal reportedly told the presumptive Democratic nominee, “Now that Hillary has given the order, I will go forward and we will do the biggest fundraiser in the history of America.”
A Symbolic $2,300

Barack Obama has chipped in $2,300 to help the defeated Hillary Clinton retire her $22.5 million in campaign debt, AFP News reports. Obama’s finance committee chairwoman Penny Pritzker also pulled out her checkbook, handing over $4,600 to Clinton from the billionaire Pritzker couple.
