$46 Million Short
BY Josh Israel | January 31, 2008
Democrat Dennis Kucinich’s presidential campaign raised less than $4 million in 2007, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission. In an interview last year, Kucinich told the Center that he needed to raise lots more than that. “I think that if we are able to raise $50 million — which is a large amount of money, but which would be dwarfed by what we are hearing other campaigns are raising — I could run a competitive campaign,” he said. “And I can win.”
