Two staffers on Republican John McCain’s campaign resigned due to ties with DCI Group, a consulting firm that represented Myanmar’s military junta in 2002, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Doug Goodyear, slated to run the GOP convention this summer, left the campaign a mere four hours after Newsweek published a story detailing his role in the firm; Doug Davenport, a regional campaign director for the Mid-Atlantic states, resigned a day later.
