In Other Words, It’s McCain’s Fault

Barack Obama’s campaign releases a memo to explain why the candidate did not stick to his pledge to seek an arrangement with John McCain over public financing, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
“It just isn’t viable for Barack Obama to take public financing,” the memo reads, “as John McCain has been running a privately financed general election campaign since February.”
