The Ads Race

In advance of tonight’s Iowa caucuses, Democratic and Republican candidates have spent more than $50 million on television advertising in the state, according to MSNBC. The campaign of Democrat Barack Obama shelled out more for TV ads in Iowa ($9.5 million) than all presidential candidates in 2004 combined ($9.1 million).
