Barack Obama is getting a little help from the Rockefellers, Michael Powell of The New York Times reports in autobiographical satire. Tuesday evening marked a night of fundraising set against the plush Washington chateau of Senator Jay Rockefeller, bringing in $28,500 a head.
Later they moved to the Woodley Park neighborhood for another fundraiser at only $2,300 for wine and cheese — but $10,000 for an invite to the VIP reception hosted by Rockefeller and the Obama camp.
