Dal LaMagna - Democratic

Withdrawn

Dal LaMagna, a Democrat, is the founder of Tweezerman Corporation (now Tweezerman International, Inc.), a manufacturer and distributor of tweezers and other implements for the cosmetics industry. LaMagna was a two-time candidate for Congress in New York’s 3rd congressional district (running as the Democratic nominee in 1996 and as the Green Party nominee in 2000) and a candidate for Oyster Bay town supervisor. He co-chaired Democratic Senator Maria Cantwell’s 2006 reelection campaign in Washington state.  LaMagna is founding partner of, and blogger at, The Huffington Post and is a member of Social Venture Network, a nonprofit network that promotes investments in socially responsible businesses.

LaMagna launched his campaign website on May 15, 2007.  He announced his withdrawal from the race in early October, 2007.
